The Valley Between
I wrestled with the word vale—another name for valley. Why would I build a foundation there? But Psalm 84:6 reminded me that valleys are not forever. They are the places we pass through—where tears become springs, and the weeping place becomes a garden.
The Beauty of Beginning Again
We are never really starting from scratch - only from experience wrapped in new mercy. What began as another attempt to run became a meeting place with God, where shame gave way to grace and defeat gave way to resurrection.
